[ ]Important
You can talk about anything here So, everything here is obviously important. So, this mean you have to read it. If you don't read it, believe me, I will notice by the questions you ask or the things you do. So, it would save your time and my time if you read these. They're here for a reason like everything else.

[ ]The Daily Prophet
Every time there is something big going to happen (either around the site in out of character, or around the school in in character), you can count on The Prophet to keep you up to date. Unless, of course, the Death Eaters infiltrate, again.
00
[ ]Staff
So, I bet you're wondering what is behind this board. Well, I guess it's too bad you'll never find out. Unless you're staff, that is. It's nothing too exciting, anyways. All that's happening is talking about different matters that need to be taken care of. Things like W.O.T.M., setting up school clubs, and all that good stuff.

[ ]The Sorting Ceremony
This is where you come after reading the rules of the forum. It's easy enough to begin making your character, all you have to do is click 'new thread' and the form will automatically come up. However, if you're having problems, feel free to ask an administrator and they will assist you.

[ ]Post Sorting (6 sub-boards)
Post sorting, or after sorting, applications will be moved here. Weather you're Gryffindor or Slytherin, accepted or rejected, they're all here. Be sure to check here to see if you're application needs fixing, or if it's been accepted.

[ ]Dungeons (3 sub-boards)
These dungeons are so dark and gloomy, even spiders are a rare sight down here - well, not really. But this is said to be one the most frightening place in all of Hogwarts. But that doesn't mean your won't find students filling in the corridors.

[ ]Ground Floor (4 sub-boards)
Also known as the first floor, this floor is always crawling with students and teachers, alike, unless it is after dark in which case everyone is in bed. Well, at least they're supposed to be in bed. Also, among all of the people, ornate statues, gargoyles, and wall/door trimmings can be found. This is one of the most decorative floors.

[ ]Second Floor (5 sub-boards)
This is the second floor of seven. Well, the third of eight floors if you count the dungeons. This floor is one of the floors that almost always has someone walking through the corridors. Why? Because you can't get anywhere without passing through this floor.

[ ]Third Floor (3 sub-boards)
This floor is pretty much the same as the rest. Nothing too special, really. There are less pictures than other floors so it's easier to sneak about at night, and not have to be worried about waking any of the portraits.

[ ]Fourth Floor (3 sub-boards)
This is a popular floor because many students come to get help with their homework from both the Library, and the clever students that make up Ravenclaw house.

[ ]Fifth Floor (4 sub-boards)
This floor is borderline boring. If you're just looking for a place to practice some spells, you'll find a rather nice corridor to use; just practice of the portraits, I'm sure no one will hear them shouting from all the way up here.

[ ]Sixth Floor (3 sub-boards)
Not quite at the top, but almost there. Although it's a royal pain in the butt, there is a lot of important rooms and classes on this floor.
00
[ ]Seventh Floor (3 sub-boards)
If you haven't had an asthma attack after walking up all of those stairs, you'll realize you're at the top of the school, now. You'll see an amazing amount of portraits on this floor, but that one of the fat lady looks oddly familiar, doesn't it?

Hogwarts Grounds
[ ]Courtyard
The courtyard leads to the man entrance into Hogwarts. This is also a common hangout spot for students, especially during the warmer seasons. In the middle of the courtyard is a large fountain shooting water high into the air.

[ ]Lawns (4 sub-boards)
This perfectly trimmed, green grass covers the majority of the grounds at Hogwarts. Students spend a lot of time out on the lawns in the warmer weather because mostly, they just like to get outside.

[ ]Greenhouses & Gardens (3 sub-boards)
The Greenhouses a full of the most wonderful and miserable plants. Here you can find things like Gillyweed and Mandrake. Also, in the garden, you find numerous flowers and maybe a garden gnome... not the porcelain kind.

[ ]Black Lake
The water in this lake isn't quite black. However, it is rather murky. All kinds of creatures live in these waters like Grindylows, Mer People, even a Giant Squid. So, go for a swim if you'd like, but be careful, you never know what you might run into down there.

Outside Hogwarts
[ ]Hogsmeade Village (4 sub-boards)
This is a small town just outside of Hogwarts. Often, students will come here on field trips to shop in the many assortments of stores for many different things, or, they can go to the Pubs, and such to relax with their friends while drinking a butter beer.
00
[ ]Diagon Alley (8 sub-boards)
Here, in Diagon Alley, you will be able to find anything and everything for doing your magic at Hogwarts. You'll also be able to find school robes, a pet, any really, like said before, anything and everything. All you need to know is where to look.
00
[ ]Knockturn Alley (2 sub-boards)
Around the outskirts of Diagon Alley is another alley somewhat like it, however, the stores and people who shop there are slightly more... evil?
